Celery Soy Milk Shake

If you think it is too much work to do this, you can easily get a cup of Celery Soya Milk at those soymilk kiosks. I decided to make it after having a cup of Celery Soya Milk which I bought few days ago. Just adjust the amount of celery or soy milk used to your own liking.

Preparation: 5 mins

Ingredients (serves 1)
° 100g-150g celery, trimmed and diced
° 125ml fresh soy milk
° sugar (optional), to taste

Method
1. Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Taste it, add more sugar, if necessary. Chilled or serve with ice.

I had just read some sections of food for the heart and it was in a thin book, was there a series of the book?

I must let my mum know about this interesting combi so I can try some! hehe

Hi Dreamy

I am not that sure, I got the book from Awareness Place, maybe, they know more. There is also free book on "NO Ajahn Chah - Refections", the book is thin but just quotes, no further explanation.

In the early 90s, there were few Chinese books on Ajahn Chah's teaching, short and sweet. Can't find it now and i can't remember what i had read there. After reading, i gave away that book, althought i wanted so much to keep. So, I bought this "Food for the Heart" to read.

You read "Who ordered this truckload of dung?" by Ajahn Brahm? It is real inspiring and humorous. My boy loves it and laughed and laughed while reading. I like the title of the book, sound something like "Who moved my cheese?" :)

Anyway, listening to Ajahn Brahm's CD which he tells those stories in his book is so much more interesting. I got the free Dharam CD "Finding Happiness in Life" from KMSPKS but this was not on KMSPKS web - http://www.kmspks.org/download/audio.htm#lati.

But can find another talk by him Living without Fear @ http://www.kmspks.org/download/audio.htm#lati. That also contains some stories in his book too.

:)

Cheers
