Simple isn’t it? You don’t need to know a lot to whip up a healthy simple home cooked meal, believe me. This is homestyle cooking, as long as it tastes yummy, who cares how it is been done. What you need to know is how to pan-fry the firm tofu, which is real simple.
As for the sauce, if you prefer a more robust sauce, you can heat some oil and stir-fry a clove of garlic or a slice of ginger till fragrant and then pour in the sauce. Otherwise, just mix all the sauce ingredients. A little bit of sugar or chilli flakes can be added, if desired.

Wrapping enoki mushrooms with maybe kimchi or lettuce with combination of bean sprouts etc can be a simple appetiser too...

Thanks Sunny :)
the enoki can be eaten raw?
Yes, yes veggie bun.
It does not look nice if cooked for too long. For soup, just add them in prior to serving.
Sometimes, for dried instant noodle, i just add them in to the blanched noodle and mix well with the vegetarian oyster sauce, light soy sauce, olive or garlic oil. Sprinkle some spring onion or add some fresh coriander leaves.
Cheers :)
Oh yes, nearly forgot, fried enoki mushrooms tasted real good!!!
Likewise are also other mushroom species!
A good snack!!!
Cheers,
Sunny :-)
Yes, fried enoki mushrooms is lovely, my boy loves that very much.
With shiitake mushroom, it is like eel - very close substitue. Cut in even smaller, it's like deep-fried pork fat cubes.
cheers :)
