Sushi

Half done sushi in a mould

Sushi again, more to come. It is so simple and fun to make.

Just prepare the rice with vinegar, salt and sugar. Next mixed the Japanese cucumber and Vegan mayo or vegetarian salad cream. Fill the rice in any sushi mould place the mayo cucumber in the centre and cover with more rice. Next remove from the mould and caot with toasted sesame seeds or Aonoriko seaweeds!

No sushi mould, do a hand formed sushi or a sushi ball. Actually, I don’t quite like the sushi mould I have in the picture, may want to get another type.

What's the center one in green covered with?
Where to get vegan mayo & vegn salad cream?

Hi Sunny
The centre one is covered with Aonoriko Seaweed (from Daiso).

Veg salad cream (brand: su xian zi) at any veg.stalls or veg shops.
Vegan Mayo, some fairprice carry stock and some organic or veg. eateries sell mayo too :)

I like the centre one, as i like anoriko seaweed, which i sprinkle onto my rice sometimes with seaseed seeds. :)

Haha, the centre one looks good.
But between Mayo & salad cream, what's the difference?

Sunny :-)

Hi Sunny,
I used the name of the product - it is Su Xian Zhi brand mayo, they named it salad cream. It is very economical. Vegan Mayo is bit expensive.

Cheers :)
