Stir-Fried Lo Shi Fun with Gochujang (Ddeokbokki)

An improvised dish from Korean street food - Ddeokbokki (炒年糕). I used Lo Shi Fun! Lo Shi Fun is a type of rice noodle that shaped like mice tails. Not many eateries sell lo shi fun dishes.

Preparation: 5 mins, Cooking time: 3 mins

Ingredients (serves 1)

° 400g Lo Shi Fun
° 1 clove garlic or 1 slice ginger, finely chopped
° ¾ tablespoon olive oil
° 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean hot pepper paste), or to taste
° 30ml water or vegetable stock
° small handful of chopped spring onion or coriander (optional), for garnish
° some toasted sesame seed (optional)

Method
1. Heat the oil in a wok. Add the garlic or ginger and fry till fragrant.
2. Throw in the lo shi fun, water and gochujang. Stir fry until the sauce is thicken.
3. Garnish with spring onion or coriander and sesame seed.
4. Serve immediately.

Hi veggie bun,

I got mine from Novena Sq 2, near the Korean restaurant, there is a Korean Shop (was it above or below House of Japanese), can't really remember.

LingZhi is at Novena Sq too, Level 3, if you want any Veg Dim Sum.

Cheers :)
