Preparation: 5 mins, Cooking time: 30 mins
Ingredients (serves 2-3)
° 350g water chestnuts, rinsed well and bruised
° 150g sugar cane
° 1 litre water
° 100g rock sugar, or to taste
Method
1. To make the drink, put all the ingredients in a pot, bring to a boil and simmer over medium heat for 20-30 minutes. Remove from heat, strain and serve warm or chill.
